Janne's January Newsletter
During 2015 we made great progress with the construction of the hospital. At the end of December the basement, first floor & second floor structures are complete and the pouring of the third floor is in progress.
All this has been possible from the support of thousands of people across the globe that have supported fundraising activities or made direct donations. We thank you and hope that you can continue to support the hospital and the women of Cambodia.
2016 is going to be a big year!!
Our immediate challenge is completing the pouring of the third floor by Khmer New Year in April.
After that we can start pouring the fourth floor, the roof wings slabs and the roof. Followed by bricking the outside walls, finalizing the entrance ramp , installing the stairways & elevator shifts etc. If funds are available all this could be completed by September 2016.
We can then start the internal fit-outs – ie painting, plastering, electrical , data cabling, flooring, windows, constructing internal walls , plumbing, etc. etc. – which subject again to funds may take between 6 to 9 months.
2016 will be a big year and we need your ongoing support.
On January 30, the 5th annual 10km “Walk for Nokor Tep Women’s Hospital” will be held in Phnom Penh. This Cambodian walk has grown significantly over the years and in 2015 attracted over 770 walkers raising in excess of $US75,000. To coincide with our Phnom Penh walk, groups of our Australian Nokor Tep Friends are organizing “Family & Friends Walks for Nokor Tep” in Melbourne , Adelaide, Sydney & Perth over that weekend.
Alternatively if you would like to make a donation, you can do so directly thru this link

Thank you again for your support in making the hospital a reality for the women of Cambodia !!!!
